Comments? You have to buy a new SIM card, which costs you SBD 400!!! No SMS to Europe.

Your advice to prospective visitors? It is a wonderful country, unfortunatly I got into this tension.

Unfortunatly, after three and a half weeks the tension started and they [the Australian and British High Commissions] recommended that visitors in Honiara should leave the country. Otherwise it was a great experience, which I can only recommend.

This refers to the riot that started after the election of Prime Minister Snyder Rini and ended with the burning and looting of a large part of Honiara's Chinatown.
